The Full Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola
We offer the full Spiritual Exercises in two formats: the Thirty-day Retreat and the Spiritual Exercises in Daily Life (also known as the Annotation 19 Retreat).
The Thirty-Day Retreat
The thirty-day Spiritual Exercises are a month-long period of prayer, silence, and spiritual direction. It is highly recommended that one make at least one silent eight-day directed retreat before making the full Spiritual Exercises. The Spiritual Exercises are scheduled for June 8-July 10, 2009, but they can be made at any time of the year, as space and director availability allow. As a result the retreatant
agrees to enter into silence at the start of the retreat and to
remain silent (including mealtimes) throughout the 30-day program.
The emphasis on silence is to aid and to allow the person to grow
in prayer through the contemplation of Jesus in the gospels.
There is a special application form for the Spiritual Exercises which can be obtained through the reservations office (phone: 303-688-4198 ext. 122; e-mail: reservations@sacredheartretreat.org). If possible, we ask that reservations be submitted at least eight weeks in advance along with a non-refundable deposit.
Suggested offering for the Thirty-Day Spiritual Exercises is $2,550 (deposit included).
